Referee Communication Products

This policy applies to referee headset intercom systems and related communication products sold by Reffcom.

1. Warranty Coverage

This policy applies to referee communication products purchased from official Reffcom sales channels, including the Reffcom website and authorized Reffcom sellers.

Covered products may include:

  • Referee headset intercom systems
  • Main wireless communication units
  • Other core referee communication products sold by Reffcom

2. Warranty Period

Eligible products are covered by a 12-month limited warranty starting from the date of delivery.

3. What the Warranty Covers

During the warranty period, Reffcom may provide repair or replacement if the product develops a fault caused by a manufacturing defect or internal hardware failure under normal use.

Examples of issues that may qualify include:

  • The device cannot power on under normal use
  • Charging failure caused by product-side hardware defects
  • Audio or communication failure caused by internal hardware malfunction
  • Repeated hardware faults not caused by misuse, impact, liquid damage, or unauthorized modification

4. What Is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by misuse, accidents, dropping, impact, crushing, liquid ingress, or improper storage
  • Damage caused by unauthorized repair, disassembly, or modification
  • Normal cosmetic wear that does not affect product function
  • Battery performance reduction caused by normal aging and use
  • Loss or theft of the product
  • Damage caused by fire, flood, lightning, or other force majeure events

Accessories Not Covered

Consumable or replaceable accessories are not covered unless required by applicable law.

This includes items such as earpieces, ear hooks, acoustic tubes, charging cables, charging adapters, back clips, belt clips, windscreens, and foam covers.

5. Warranty Service and Claim Review

Before approving a warranty claim, Reffcom may ask the customer to complete basic troubleshooting, as some issues may be caused by pairing, microphone position, mute settings, charging setup, or headset connection rather than a hardware defect.

To request warranty service, please provide:

  • Order number or proof of purchase
  • Product model
  • A clear description of the issue
  • Photos or a video showing the problem

Reffcom will review the information and confirm whether the issue qualifies for warranty service.

6. Warranty Solutions

If Reffcom confirms a covered manufacturing or hardware defect within the warranty period, we may provide one of the following solutions:

Free Repair

If the issue can be repaired reasonably, Reffcom may arrange a free repair.

Free Replacement

If repair is not practical, Reffcom may provide a replacement unit.

The final solution will depend on the fault type, product condition, repair feasibility, and stock availability.

7. Human-Caused Damage and Out-of-Warranty Service

If the product is damaged by accidental damage, misuse, liquid exposure, impact, or unauthorized disassembly, it will not qualify for free warranty replacement.

However, Reffcom may still offer repair support where possible.

  • Customers are responsible for shipping costs
  • Replacement parts may be charged if needed
  • Repair availability depends on product condition and spare-part availability

After the 12-month warranty period, Reffcom may still provide repair support whenever possible, but shipping costs and replacement component costs will be the customer’s responsibility.

8. Wireless Performance Disclaimer

Reffcom products are wireless referee communication systems used in real match and training environments. Wireless performance may be affected by factors outside our control, such as:

  • Nearby Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, or other wireless devices
  • Venue layout, walls, metal structures, or physical obstacles
  • Distance between users during a match
  • Local interference or weather conditions
  • Microphone position, headset fit, or mute settings

Minor signal interference, temporary audio noise, or occasional connection fluctuation does not automatically indicate a product defect. Warranty service will only apply if Reffcom confirms an actual hardware or manufacturing fault.

9. Limitation of Liability

Reffcom’s liability under this Warranty Policy is limited to the repair, replacement, or support options described above. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Reffcom shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from the use of the product.
